MDP2P Buy  (3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl-2-propanone) is a chemical compound composed of  phenylacetone  with a  methylenedioxy functional group substitution .  It serves as a vital  chemical precursor  for  MDMA  (commonly referred to as “Ecstasy”),  MDEA , and other related substances .  MDP2P is commonly synthesized from either  safrole  or its isomer  isosafrole  via oxidation methods.   1. Brightstar Synthesis :
    • It oxidizes  safrole  to obtain  MDP2P  (piperonyl methyl ketone).
    • It then performs a  reductive amination  using  methylamine  and  aluminum-mercury amalgam  to produce  MDMA .
  2. Nef Synthesis :
    • Nitropropene   undergoes  catalytic hydrolysis  and loss of  nitrous oxide in a Nef  reaction  , resulting  in MDP2P .
    • MDP2P is then converted to MDMA by  reductive amination  with  ethanolic methylamine  and  sodium cyanoborohydride  or other similar methods.
